I am curious. When you think back to your wedding day. What is the first memory/image that pops into your mind?
Is it the moment you saw your future to be walking down the aisle or standing at the alter? Is it your first kiss as husband & wife? Is it the cake cutting? Or is it how drunky-monkey your grandma/grandpa got?
Or do you think back on your wedding day and instantly think of that one picture ..your favorite picture. IF so Post your picture I want to see. You can post a link to your picture in the comment area.
As an incentive for you to leave a comment, I will be giving away a $20 giftcard to Starbucks to one random commenter. Don't forget to leave yur name and email address so I can get hold of you if you win!
I will be announcing a winner Dec 15th.

I'll tell you, even without the starbucks card. I remember waiting alone, excited, smiling, happy, dripping with jewels, upstairs in the Taj, while I listened for the sounds of my grooms bridal party arriving. That was the best bit, and the first bit I think of.
Aww Anonymous! That sounds awesome. I especially love the Dripping in Jewels part!
I would Love to know who you are...
When you ask about my wedding the absolute 1st image that pops in my mind is my wife's beautiful Hawaiian dance to me.
OMG ... I had never seen anything like it and I will never forget it.
I have to share the picture of what I'm talking about and give you a little bit more detail.
1st off my wife and I have never danced in public, she is extremely shy. We danced once together and that was in the middle of a really crowded dance floor for about 2 minutes at most... Yes she is just that shy.
So on our wedding day, when say surprised me with an solo dance that was NOT on the itinerary and then performed it in front of 150 of our closest friends and family ... it was breath taking.
HERE IT IS
When I think back to my wedding day, I remember being so nervous in church because I had found out I was pregnant a few weeks earlier and I didn't tell anyone. I thought for sure the ceiling was gonna crumble on me and I was gonna catch on fire. Good thing I wore an off white dress!
The first image popping into my head is me looking down from the bridal suite onto the ceremony site and saying to my bridesmaids...YAY everyone showed up! haha...I had nightmares that no one would show up. So it was nice to see the ceremony site filled with our friends and family!

ok so once I got past the mob in front of the church of crying friends who still had hope and told me "you can still turn back now!!!"... The most impressionable memory HOWEVER was the way the Mariachi echoed throughout St. Josephs church...I had never heard the wedding song done in mariachi. I could hear the violinist making her instrument vibrate this echoing cry and the trumpet sounded like an angels soft voice mirking through the church...I loved the music... THAT was what pushed me in!
thank yo everyone for commenting.
Alonzo: the Hawaiian wedding dance is gorgeous. I have seen it many times and each time I get chills!!! Maybe you guys will share more public dances now..
Ro: Funny story! I think it takes a Whole lot more to make a church crumble. ;-)
Sonia: I think one of the most important things at weddings is having all your loved ones close to celebrate with you. I'm glad to hear everyone was able to join you and your hubby.
Tina: What can I say- I love mariachis!!!
