Myrna & Juan Carlos -- Part 3

Here are a few more as promised for this beautiful wedding.

My first love is Black & White film I especially love being in the darkroom and watching that "perfect" image begin to appear in the water. The images in this post bring me back to that first love, although these were cooked up digitally in the warmth of my kitchen. No pun intended, but that is where I currently have my computer set up.

The couple decided to see each other before the ceremony and dedicate some alone time to taking couple portraits. This was the groom's first sighting of his bride. And what a mischievous bride she was ;-)
First sight

Alas the time has come to be walked down by the aisle. And by who other than her dad.
Daddy's little girl

During the ceremony this little guy needed some help getting the ring of the pillow.

The little flower girl was so cute. She had special attention before the ceremony.

And finally THE KISS!

Finding Beauty

Why is it that something this beautiful is ripped form the ground and quickly discarded?

Found this in my neighbors yard. They were pulling weeds and were getting ready to pull it. I ran over and saved it- it now is in a vase in my living room.

My neighbor's son was very puzzled as to why I would want a weed. I simply told him sometimes you have to look beyond and find the beauty in something others would consider ugly.

why is something this beautiful quickly ripped from mother earth and thrown aside as garbage?

This post is dedicated to a hard working man who like this dandelion was pulled from earth too quickly.

Myrna & Juan Carlos

Myrna & Juan Carlos: THANK YOU For allowing me to be part of this very special day!!!

I couldn't have been blessed with a  more laid back fun awesome couple if I had advertised for one. These two ROCKED!!!! Not only are they super in LOVE but they also gave me complete creative freedom. They were down for everything-- even standing on rocks for pictures. Sorry Myrna - I hope your feet survived!!

Juan Carlos was soooooo excited he was jumping and clicking his heels!! No joke! He did it on his own.  I was Fortunate to capture the moment. During the Groom and Groomsmen pictures I was inspired by Reservoir Dogs, but the guys were more inspired by The Godfather.

I could talk forever about this awesome couple but instead I will let you see for yourself. There are soo many awesome pictures - I can't even decide on a favorite ONE.

I will be posting more .. stay tuned.
